Every full moon has a name.
July is the Buck Moon.
Join us under the Buck moon for two jam-packed days of some of the best country music around. Only 50 minutes from Winnipeg and 12 minutes from Grand Beach, Howl at the Moon Music Festival is a great way to spend a mid-summer Manitoba weekend with friends. Spend the days taking in all of the new music the festival has to offer, kicking back at your camp site or exploring the area, and cap it all off with performances by country music stars Brett Kissel and Aaron Pritchett.
Those attending the festival are invited to camp overnight in the beautiful festival campground, filled with trees for lots of shade. Each camp site can accommodate up to two vehicles, so pull right in and set up your tent (trailers welcome too!). Campers are also welcome to cool off at the on-site artificial Hill Top Lake, a spring water-filled sandy beach area!
With the site being so close to Winnipeg (50 minutes) and Grand Beach (12 minutes), many may choose not to camp, and that's just fine! There is ample on-site parking available for those who want to come and go.

Some would imagine that Brett Kissel is settling perfectly into the role of one of the nation’s leading country music creatives, but settling is not a word in Kissel’s vocabulary. In fact, with his new album in tow, just ask him: he's only just begun!
Just like Kissel's real life now-a-days, the top three tracks of We Were That Song explode into your life with purpose. "I feel the most connected to my fans while up on stage; I'm an entertainer, it's what I do best." Kissel shares. This “bring-the-fire” attitude is evident in hot tracks like Anthem, Guitars and Gasoline, and the smash title track - We Were That Song.
Aaron Pritchett’s legacy continues to be unstoppable. His authentic desire to connect with his fans, whether it be onstage, via his digital platforms, in person or through his music, has sustained and grown a robust and loyal fan base for well over a decade.
Pritchett has charted anthems like “Dirt Road In Em, “Let’s Get Rowdy,” “Hold My Beer (Certified GOLD),” and also appealed to the softer side with powerful hits like “Done You Wrong,” and his recent top 5 smash - “When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl.”
